"For us, our house is not insentient matter—it has a heart, and a soul, and eyes to see us with; and approvals, and solicitudes, and deep sympathies; it is of us, and we are in its confidence, and live in its grace and in the peace of its benediction. We never come home from an absence that its face does not light up and speak out its eloquent welcome—and we can not enter it unmoved."
—Mark Twain, 1896

Star bright.....

This morning at approximately 4 am I was out back, just sitting on the deck. First thing I noticed was that it was eerily silent. Absolutely no sound whatsoever. And then, I looked up to see a beautiful Crescent Moon and, what I believe to be, Jupiter.

(You'll have to click on the photo to see it)

If you look close at the enlarged photo, you can just make out three of Jupiter’s Galilean moons. One (Europa) is below Jupiter and slightly to the left. It is very faint, but look close. And the other two (Io and Ganymede) are just above it to the right of the moon.

Take the time to live in your moments.
