"For us, our house is not insentient matter—it has a heart, and a soul, and eyes to see us with; and approvals, and solicitudes, and deep sympathies; it is of us, and we are in its confidence, and live in its grace and in the peace of its benediction. We never come home from an absence that its face does not light up and speak out its eloquent welcome—and we can not enter it unmoved."
—Mark Twain, 1896

La Puerta

There are many doors to pass through in this life...........which ones you open is your choice.
Pause and think carefully before turning that knob, as not all doors are as beautiful as they appear. Take your time. Inspect every crevice. Explore every flaw and imperfection. Run your hand slowly along it's grain. Make certain there are no splinters of consequence. Look closely, does the beauty of the door eminate through, from the inside out? Or is it only on the surface where it will eventually fade?
You don't need a window to look inside. The right door is transparent. It has nothing to hide. If only you are patient long enough to see it.

Once you turn that knob in haste and walk through ........ well, .. let me just say, I warned you.

Anche a me piace molto fare attenzione alle porte delle casa .....sopratutto quando sono così colorate e strane .....Ho preso dalle tue foto lo spunto per risistemare la mia porta...
