Don’t trip over yourself

Sometimes we are so self absorbed that when God sends us a message we misinterpret it to ‘fit’ the need of our selfishness. Again, as in the reading of the Bible, accept the message without spoil. Don’t try to interpret the signs, just accept them for what they are. In today’s vernacular, I believe a young person would say: ‘go with the flow, dude.’

If you’ve been beating your head against a stonewall, never getting past it in your life, do you really think God would send you another stonewall just so you can beat your head against it, yet again? Think outside the Ego and look closer at that wall. He doesn’t want you to go through it…..because we all know how easy going through a stonewall is, He wants you to go around it. SEE what God intends for you to see. Look past the superficial and go deep into the rabbit hole.

Learn to love the truth about yourself. It is liberating. If you want to break free of the Ego that keeps getting in your way, tell the truth, all the time. ‘….and the truth will set you free.’ Once you have liberated yourself of yourself, and get out of your own way, the journey will become clear.

There is a saying that seems appropriate here, ‘If you always do what you’ve always done, then you’ll always get what you always got.’
